About F3 Insights

Adaptive systems and architecture are critical to executive advantage.

F3 Insights is a Finance and AI advisory firm. We help executives by bringing strategy, experience and training to transform their finances, systems and teams. We started in the CFO's office, where the numbers have to be right, and we bring that same discipline to the rest of the business.

The mission

Leverage the systems that define the future.

New technologies are rapidly changing the capabilities of individuals and teams. Companies are trying to figure out how to adopt and transform. There are clear opportunities with similarly impactful challenges. Our unique combination of large corporate experience, functional expertise, and deep technical aptitude allows us to help transform your business. With a mind towards financial impacts, we help build the governance and workflows so the gains are real, but your data and IP stay yours. The result is a sustainable system that holds up under scrutiny.

The current environment

What today's executives are up against

You need support from experts who have both 'been in your shoes' as well as 'understand changing landscape.'

Growth companies need upskilling

When companies outgrow their systems and capabilities, they need to bring in expertise quickly and effectively.

An expectation to embrace AI

ELT, the board or investors expect teams to use AI. The details of 'how' are a bit fuzzy - in establishing favorable impact, understanding costs, and ensuring security.

Claude for Teams or Copilot with unclear return

You may have bought the licenses, but are you seeing improvement in your bottom-line? What is the best way to leverage these tools.

Employees are concerned that AI will take their jobs

Today, AI is able to do a significant number of digital tasks. Employees need to be upskilled to take advantage of the technology.

Data is the core to success

Silo'ed data from Salesforce, SAP, and spreadsheets that needs to be aligned. No AI agent can be trusted with data nobody trusts, and data needs to be utilized securely.

Technical skill acceleration

There are people racing ahead today with tools that seem to change day-to-day. What are the strategies that can leverage change?

The sweet spot

Who you are working with

Multiple disciplines, one operating posture. Strategy that survives contact with reality, engineering that holds up under load, and finance leadership that has to answer to a board.

Finance

CFO-grade accountability

The numbers have to be trustworthy on demand. We have closed the books, defended the forecast, and owned the controls.

Strategy

Deep problem solving

Structured decomposition, hypothesis-driven analysis, and the discipline to lead with the outcome rather than the tool.

Engineering

Big-tech grade systems thinking

Deterministic, auditable architecture. Agentic workflows designed like production systems, with guardrails and human-in-the-loop by default.

Operations

Understanding the big picture

Systems underly all companies' success. Dataflow, interpersonal communication, and critical decision points.

Leadership

A new generation of advisors

We are trusted leaders who are equally comfortable with the strategic big picture as well as the nitty-gritty detail.

Gregory Fisher

Partner

Greg Fisher founded F3 Insights to bring senior financial leadership to growth-stage companies. He is a 'full-stack' business executive and transformation consultant who drives business optimization and financial health. Across roughly 20 years in finance leadership, he has helped companies in healthcare, biotech, manufacturing, consumer electronics, and professional services improve profitability, build reporting and data infrastructure, and scale operations. Greg holds CPA (inactive), MBA credentials from UCSD, and has had multiple overseas expat tenures in complex international businesses.

His speciality is to lead business transformation at the critical intersection of operations, finance, and technology.

James Christopher

Partner

James Christopher was building with machine learning before the current wave, and holds patents in the field. His career crosses lines most people pick one of: senior roles in marketing, research, and engineering.

As a seasoned Chief Experience Officer he owns how the work feels to the people who live with it: the client's experience of the engagement, and the end user's experience of every system we ship. He has advised companies across technology and go-to-market as both a builder and an operator, turning hard AI capability into adoption people trust.

His specialty is human-in-the-loop. For years he has built human-in-the-loop systems inside advanced AI platforms, designing the review gates, controls, and handoffs that keep a person between the model and the consequence. That discipline is the spine of how F3i governs AI, and the reason a board can trust what we put in front of them.

The vision

Every executive and employee sits on top of an architected, governed system.

We are building toward a near future where team members each run a command center, not a backlog. Where AI adoption is measured in margin increased and risk removed, and team members can focus on decision-making and human-in-the-loop oversight.
